Return Policy

Arrange a refund or return:

This allows you to organize a refund or return of the title you have purchased. All the information for your order should appear in the required boxes. You will be asked to select a reason for your return. Select and then click 'create'. Your return then will be authorized. Please note our returns policy (see below).


Academic Book Center operates a 'no questions asked' returns policy in accordance with the US Distance Selling Regulations if you return your book within 7 working days of receiving delivery of your order. Please note that any postage costs incurred when returning your books during this period will be at your own cost, unless the book is damaged, or was sent in error. Please follow the return directions below.

After the 'no questions asked' 7 day period we will be more than happy to accept books for return in any of the following cases: 

  1. The book was found to be damaged or faulty. We will either replace the book or give you a full refund (including postage costs). Please state which option you'd prefer. If you require a replacement, we will wait to receive the faulty copy from you before dispatching a new one.

  2. The book was incorrectly supplied. If we have made a mistake in fulfilling your order, a full refund (including postage costs) will of course be given. 

Books should be returned in their original packaging to: 

Books should be returned to us by the most economical method. They remain your property until we have received them. 
Returns are accepted at the discretion of Academic Book Center, and refunds will be given in the same tender type as the original payment. 
Please allow 14 days (in addition to the delivery time) for the return to be processed.
