Pricing
Academic Book Center aims to reflect the most accurate information on book
prices at all times. We supply items at the publishers recommended prices
except where specific discount is offered. We will make all reasonable
efforts to present accurate information but we cannot guarantee the price or
our ability to supply any particular book.
Occasionally publishers may increase their prices unexpectedly, and this is
often something we become aware of only upon ordering stock from them. In
the event that this occurs, or in the event of a pricing error howsoever
caused, we will, at our own discretion, either check with you before
dispatch to see if you still wish to receive the item at the new price, or
cancel your order and notify you of the cancellation. TOP

Contract
After you place an order to purchase a product from Academic Book Center, we
will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the
details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a
product which is accepted by us when we send e-mail confirmation to you that
we've dispatched that product to you (the Dispatch Confirmation E-mail).
That acceptance will be complete at the time we send the Dispatch
Confirmation E-mail to you. Any products on the same order which we have not
confirmed in a Dispatch Confirmation E-mail to have been dispatched do not

Academic Book Center recognizes the concern of our customers regarding privacy
of information. All information you give to us would be stored securely, and
would not accessible to other users. Rest assured that any information you
give to Academic Book Center will not be distributed to any other company outside,
unless you give us your express consent.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the
information that we collect about you lawfully .We collect information about
you for two reasons: Firstly, to process your order and secondly, to provide
you with the best possible service. We will not e-mail you or pass your
information to another trader unless you have given us your consent.
In order to process your payment we may, however, provide
financial information to our account processors (Including Banks and such
organizations). In addition, you may notify us if you do not wish to receive
any further marketing information from us. The type of information we will
collect about you includes:

- Credit/debit card details
We will not collect sensitive information about you without your explicit
consent.
We will endeavor to ensure the information we hold will be accurate and up
to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing
us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.
The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance
with our internal security policy and the law. If we intend to transfer your
information we would first obtain (Under the regulation of Federal trade
commission) except for payment processing which is through the secure
channels of our banking partners.
We may also use technology to track the patterns of behavior of visitors to
our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your
browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The
information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you
modify your browser settings.

Academic Book Center uses industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL)
encryption to ensure that there is highest security for credit card and the
personal details submitted to us over the Internet. Recent surveys have
shown that there is less fraud on the Internet than in real life situations
(such as using your credit card in a department store or at a restaurant),
and we're confident that we are offering the secure service you can expect
from us. Our security certificate is issued by Verisign and we use SSL 128
bit key encryption - US industry standard security software. Information
passed between your computer and our website cannot be read in the unlikely

Refunds and Returns
Academic Book Center operates a 'no questions asked' returns policy in
accordance with The U.S Distance Selling Regulations .If the book is
returned within 7 working days after the order is being received by you.
Please note that any postage costs incurred when returning your books during
this period will be at your own cost, unless the book is damaged, or was
sent in error. Please follow the return directions below.
If you believe that your item has been lost in transit or has not been
delivered for any reason, you must contact us within 60 days of the 'Ship
date' of your item, which is displayed in 'Your orders', so that we can
investigate. We regret that we are unable to accept claims for lost items
that are reported more than 60 days after the 'Ship Date'. TOP
Standard Returns Policy
After the 'no questions asked' 7 day period we will be more than happy to
accept books for return in any of the following cases:
- The book was found to be damaged or faulty. We will either replace the
book or give you a full refund (including postage costs). Please state which
option you'd prefer. If you require a replacement, we will wait to receive
the faulty copy from you before dispatching a new one.
- The book was incorrectly supplied. If we have made a mistake in fulfilling
your order, a full refund (including postage costs) will of course be given.
Books supplied to customers should be returned in their original packaging
to:

Provided the above conditions above are met Academic Book Center will refund
the cost of all such returns provided the books are returned to us by the
most economical method. The books remain your property until we have
received them.
Returns are accepted at the discretion of Academic Book Center. Refunds will be given
in the same tender type as the original payment i.e. the amount would be
refunded back to your credit card
Please allow 14 days (in addition to the delivery time) for
the return to be processed. TOP
Use of Site
Academic Book Center and any associated company reserves the right to refuse service,
terminate accounts, and/or cancel transactions in its discretion, if we
believe that the customer conduct is in violation or breach of any
applicable law or is harmful to our interests and our terms and conditions.
Though this does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. Contracts
are established at time of dispatch.
